Dielectric fluid for Heat Transfer


THERMASOLV™ IM1 is a dielectric fluid for Heat Transfer, manufactured by Inventec and dedicated to single-phase or two-phase direct or immersion cooling systems.

Its high electrical insulation properties enable the immersion of live electronic and electrical devices in the fluid.

The product's viscosity, density and surface tension allow optimal surface contact, which contributes to superior heat transfer performance.

Excellent compatibility with all metals, a wide range of plastics and elastomers, and the chemical stability of the fluid make THERMASOLV™ IM1 an ideal fluid for immersion cooling.

THERMASOLV™ IM1 is formulated with safety in mind. It is non-toxic, has no EUH phrase, is non-flammable and has no flash point.

The best process depends on factors such as operating conditions and equipment.

THERMASOLV™ IM1 is a drop-in solution for other hydrofluoethers with a boiling point of about 61°C.

Although this product has very good compatibility properties, we recommend testing before use.



The product can be used in the following processes:

  • Immersion cooling (single and two-phase)
  • Direct cooling, in which the fluid flows through cold plates or pipes (single and two-phase)
  • Specific production processes requiring stable and uniform cooling
  • Dielectric tests



1-phase system

  • Recommended minimum temperature: -105°C/-157°F
  • Maximum recommended temperature: 50°C/122°F


Two-phase system

  • Boiling point: 61°C/142°F
