Dielectric fluid for Heat Transfer

Description

THERMASOLV™ IM7 is a dielectric fluid for Heat Transfer, manufactured by Inventec, specifically for single-phase or two-phase direct or immersion cooling systems.

Its high electrical insulation properties allow live electronic and electrical devices to be immersed in the fluid.

The product's favourable viscosity, density and surface tension characteristics enable optimal surface contact, which contributes to superior heat transfer performance.

Excellent compatibility with all metals, a wide range of plastics and elastomers, and the chemical stability of the fluid make THERMASOLV™ IM7 an ideal fluid for immersion cooling.

THERMASOLV™ IM7 is formulated with safety in mind. It is non-toxic, has no EUH phrase, is non-flammable and has no flash point.

THERMASOLV IM7 is a drop-in solution for other hydrofluoethers with a boiling point of approximately 76°C/169°F.

 

PROCESSES

The product can be used in the following processes:

Immersion cooling (single-phase and two-phase)
Direct cooling, in which the fluid flows through cold plates or pipes (1-phase and 2-phase)
Specific production processes requiring stable and uniform cooling
Dielectric tests

1-phase system

Recommended minimum temperature: -105°C/-157°F

Maximum recommended temperature: 50°C/122°F

Two-phase system

Boiling point: 76°C/169°F
