PROMOSOLV 9000 has been specifically developed for the professional cleaning of motion picture film. In particular, it is designed for ultrasonic cleaning processes used in film archives and laboratories dedicated to restoration and digitization.
It is a colorless, low-odor fluid engineered to ensure high contaminant removal efficiency while enabling fast and effective drying within the cleaning cycle.

First of all, PROMOSOLV 9000 was developed in collaboration with Media Migration Technology (MMT, formerly Lipsner Smith). As a result, it is especially well suited for film cleaning equipment and can be considered a drop-in solution when replacing traditional solvents with more critical HSE profiles.

Moreover, the product is positioned as a like-for-like substitute for 3M™ Novec™ 8200 and 7200, maintaining equivalent proportions and properties according to the manufacturer. Therefore, it facilitates a smooth transition while preserving process continuity (subject to application validation).
