ECS PLASTIC

Transparent protective coating compliant for printed circuit boards and electronic components

Description

ECS PLASTIC is a protective acrylic resin-based coating, particularly suitable for the electronics industry. It forms a glossy, flexible, and protective film that resists acids, salts, fungi, corrosive vapors, thermal stress, mechanical strain, alkalis, alcohols, humidity, and harsh environmental conditions. Moreover, it remains effective across a wide temperature range, from –70°C to +120°C.

The varnish adheres to various materials such as metal, plastic, wood, cardboard, glass, and more. In addition, ECS PLASTIC does not drip and allows soldering directly on the applied layer. It contains a UV indicator for quality control and complies with MIL-I-46058C – “Acrylic Resin Type”.

As a result, ECS PLASTIC protects printed circuit boards, components, electric cables, and more. It prevents or eliminates leakage currents, corona effect, short circuits, and discharges. Therefore, it insulates from water, dust, and humidity, making it the ideal solution for corrosion protection of components exposed to adverse weather conditions. Furthermore, it is also suitable for waterproofing materials like cardboard, wood, leather, and others.
