THERMASOLV™ IM2

Dielectric heat transfer fluid

Description

THERMASOLV™ IM2, an Inventec product, is a dielectric heat transfer fluid also used in immersion systems.

Its high electrical insulation properties allow live electronic and electrical devices to be immersed in the fluid.

The product's favorable viscosity, density and surface tension characteristics allow optimal surface contact, which contributes to superior heat transfer performance.

Excellent compatibility with all metals, a wide range of plastics and elastomers, and the chemical stability of the fluid make THERMASOLV™ IM2 an ideal fluid for immersion cooling.

THERMASOLV™ IM2 is formulated with safety in mind. It is non-toxic, carries no EUH phrase, is non-flammable and has no flash point.

It also has extinguishing properties, which provide additional protection in case of fire.

It is also an excellent sustainable solution, as it has no ODP, has a low GWP (<10) and can be recycled when needed.

Characteristics:

  • Excellent thermal conductivity
  • Very low surface tension
  • High electrical insulation
  • Low kinetic viscosity and low freezing point limit the load on pumps
  • Thermally and chemically stable during use
  • Low GWP and no ODP
  • Non-flammable and no flash point
  • Low environmental impact: GREENWAY product.

Application:

The best process depends on factors such as operating conditions and equipment.
This product is not suitable when there is a high risk of water contact as it affects product performance and functionality.
Although this product has excellent compatibility properties, testing is recommended before use.
