ABCHIMIE SND is a fast-drying cleaning solvent specially formulated by ABchimie for defluxing and degreasing electronical and electrical equipment.

ABCHIMIE SND is really efficient to take off coating on Pcbs and dissolve very quickly acrylic varnish. SND dissolves AVR80 BA acrylic paint very quickly.

The product has a very large range of application and this product is compatible with a large range of plastics materials.

 

Product use:

SND contains flammable solvent so do not spray onto live electrical equipment or other sources of ignition. Immerse during few minutes surface to be cleaned or spray onto surface to excess and allow to evaporate. A brush or foam tipped bud may be used to remove any stubborn deposits.

ABCHIMIE SVP 52 is a flexible, transparent modified silicone resin conformal coating. It may be soldered through to allow rework. It is suitable for dip coating, spraying and brushing.

ABCHIMIE SVP 52 is for use in the protection of electronic circuitry to meet the highest defence and aerospace industry requirements. Common uses include in telecommunications, radar and associated applications.

 

Features:

  • Excellent adhesion under all climatic conditions
  • Excellent resistance to mould growth and ultra violet light, and to prolonged exposure to tropical life and salt spray
  • Wide temperature range -60°C to 200°C
  • High gloss finish and high surface resistivity
  • Coating thickness typically being 25 to 50 microns
  • Fluorescent under ultra violet light as an aid to subsequent inspection
  • Can be soldered through without fear of highly toxic gases being produced
  • Halogen free.

 

Application:

ABCHIMIE SVP 52 can be sprayed, dipped or brushed. The thickness of the coating depends on the method of application, but a dip coater normally deposits a film thickness of about 25 microns

(single coat). Workshop temperatures of less than 16°C or relative humidities in excess of 75% are unsuitable for the application of SVP52.

All PCBs, being composite materials, absorb moisture. If this is not removed, the conformal coating may not protect to its fullest extent. Pre-drying, or better still, vacuum desiccation, will remove most of the moisture.

SVP52 contains a UV trace which allows inspection of the PCB after coating to ensure complete and even coverage. The stronger the reflected light, the thicker the coating layer is.

ABCHIMIE SVR 99

ABCHIMIE SVR 99 is a silicone conformal coating designed to protect electronic boards exposed to high humidity environments.

Specially formulated by ABchimie to be easily removed with the ABCHIMIE SND stripper.

ABCHIMIE SVR 99 can be applied by spray, dip or brush.

To maintain ensure proper viscosity, its thinner ABCHIMIE DVS can be used.

The UV tracer allows easy and reliable post-coating inspection.

Crosslinking at room temperature occurs between 4 and 12 hours.

 

Features:

  • good adhesion in high humidity conditions
  • low oxygen permectivity and excellent surface resistivity
  • excellent resistance to mold growth, tropical conditions and ultraviolet light
  • good dielectric properties; coating thickness is typically 25 microns
  • repairability: easily welded without fear of producing highly toxic gases
  • UL QMJU2 approval (File E308861).

 

Application:

ABCHIMIE SVR99 can be applied by spray, dip or brush.

Coating thickness depends on the application method, but an immersion coating normally deposits a film thickness of about 25 microns (single coat).

Temperature below 16°C or relative humidity above 75% are not suitable for application of ABCHIMIE SVR 99.

Pre-drying is recommended to remove moisture.

ABCHIMIE SVR99 air dries within 4-12 hours at room temperature, this curing time can be reduced with the use of moderate heat.
