Description

ABCHIMIE836 UV LED is a single-component transparent conformal coating designed to protect electronic boards from moisture, dust and chemicals and is the third generation of conformal coating developed by ABchimie.

This product, unlike acrylic resins, is solvent-free and therefore totally VOC free and features dual cure (UV + moisture) technology for crosslinking in shaded areas.

ABCHIMIE836 UV LED has a high dielectric value (Log Ohm > 10.5, IPC CC 830, SIR according to IPC TM 650 2.6.3.4) and complies with REACH and RoHS regulations.

Application:

ABCHIMIE836 UV LED can be applied by brush, spray or selective equipment:

  • Recommended thickness: 30 to 130 microns
  • Spray: 30-90 microns
  • Implant film coater: 90-130 microns (380 mm/s).

Before application, the printed circuit board must be clean, dry and free of moisture.

This product contains a fluorescent tracer to verify the correct paint deposition, and to facilitate inspection.

The higher the level of fluorescence, the thicker the coating.

Usually it is sufficient to condition the circuits in an oven for 4 hours at 80°C.
